Receiving Crypto from an External Account

Swype users are able to receive Crypto from other addresses by following the steps below

Step 1.

Open Swype App -> tap on Wallet widget

Step 2.

Select the chain you want to receive on -> tap on the Receive button under Wallet Details above your tokens

You can do one of the following:

• Tap your address (0x....)

• Tap the Share icon

• Scan the QR code with an external device

Note than even if you send "Wrong chain" address, i.e. you meant to send Ethereum address instead of Arbitrum, Swype automatically creates EVM address which are the same across all EVM chains. The only receiving address that would be different and not EVM compatible is Bitcoin. This may change in the future as we add multi-wallet compatibility and non-EVM chains.
